The Cedars is a 76-unit assisted living facility set on 10 pastoral acres in residential Dartmouth, Massachusetts and near the Westport line. The community offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, of which 61 apartments are reserved for traditional assisted living; 16 of which are reserved for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program. The remaining 17 apartments called "The Meadows" are reserved for residents needing support with memory enhancement. The amenity areas include: a dining room, great room, living room with fireplace, country kitchens, fitness center, library, reflection room, computer center, hair salon, community room, courtyard and mail center. The Meadows features a protective environment with a common dining room, country kitchen, activities area, and sitting room, as well as a door to a landscaped, enclosed garden area. The property enjoys a premier reputation in the South Coast region and hosts an ongoing calendar of resident activities and community events.
