The development entity led by EA Fish Companies, acquired the Asher's Path development after being selected as the winner of a request for proposals competition sponsored by the Mashpee Massachusetts Housing Authority. The main goals for the project were to create a true partnership with the Mashpee Housing Authority, to utilize a multitude of financial subsidies available to affordable housing projects, to use the Chapter 40b program to expedite permitting, and to provide much needed 55+ affordable housing within the Mashpee community.
The biggest challenges for the Asher's Path development were to attain needed financial subsidies required to meet the budget, to condense the predevelopment schedule and to expedite the construction schedule. EA Fish Companies in partnership with the Mashpee Housing Authority was able to overcome all of these challenges and deliver a project that was ahead of schedule and under budget.
The team of EA Fish Development, Dellbrook Construction and Peabody Properties worked together throughout the development, construction, marketing and management phase of the Asher's Path development, in partnership with the Mashpee Housing Authority, to solve complex issues and to create a successful development.
